Town Hall Meeting-Murphy

Description

As many of you may have heard Murphy has been selected to participate in a program that will lead to our town being designated as a Main Street America Community if we can garner community support and meet the requirements (see link to explain Main Street https://www.nccommerce.com/about-us/divisions-programs/rural-economic-development/nc-main-street-rural-planning-center). Receiving this honor would be a tremendous boost for our tourism and economic development. 

A meeting to kick off this momentous occasion is being held at Murphy Town Hall on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 8:30 am. A presentation explaining the project and introducing the program coordinators will take place and your presence is requested. Please come out and show support for our Town!
