Description
FARCE by Jones-Hope-Wooten – (If you loved Doublewide, Texas, just buy your ticket!) The action takes place primarily in Wide Bride, a “wedding gown boutique for big gals,” owned by Verdeen cousins in Sweetgum, Texas. Sales are sagging and they have one opportunity to get their side business of party planning off and running: catering the last reunion of the Sweetgum High School before the school is demolished. One catastrophe follows another and crazy characters come and go with lightning speed–including an old classmate with a peculiar “little buddy” and the Texas Governor who is making a surprise stop at the reunion. You’ll be twirling a lasso and gurgling with laughter.
