State of the Water

Description

The Hiwassee River Watershed Coalition invites the public to listen and learn about the water quality in our lakes, rivers, and streams, as well as participate in prioritizing solutions. The event is being held in Cherokee County this year at Tri-County Community College, Crisp Building, Room 100 on Tuesday, October 24th from 5:30 – 7:30pm. The presentation will include an overview of recent water quality monitoring data that's been collected in our watershed, highlighting not only the needs, but the improvements as well. This event is offered annually to the community free of charge. Refreshments will be served. Donations are always appreciated.
