A versatile artist hailing from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Brown has performed in the US and abroad with artists like Elvin Jones, Nnenna Freelon, Ellis Marsalis, Cyrus Chestnut, the North Carolina Symphony. He is a renowned bassist, composer, educator, actor, and a Grammy and Emmy nominee. This event is sponsored by the Clay County Historical & Arts Council with support from the North Carolina Arts Council.
