Description
Musical • Stephen Sondheim, James Lapine – This beautifully-written, Tony award-winning musical is a delightful concoction of favorite fairytales, woven together into a new story. Because of the curse of a once-beautiful witch, a baker and his wife are childless. On her instruction, they set out “into the woods” to find the ingredients that will reverse the spell, give them a child and restore the witch’s beauty. During their journey they meet Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack (of beanstalk fame) — each on a quest to fulfill a wish of their own.
