Flowers In Watercolor with Suzy DesLauriers

This class level is for beginning and intermediate students. It is a great class to learn basic watercolor painting and improve your skills if you have some experience. Students will paint a variety of beautiful flowers using watercolor by observing cut flowers and photos. Some of the techniques the students will learn are layering transparent color, infusing color, blending, using color temperature, and creating textures on watercolor paper.
​   The Instructor will demonstrate how to create a variety of textures. Students will learn light and dark painting, and the different shapes of flowers. It is recommended to bring a photo or two of flowers or a garden. This class fills up quickly and is limited seating, so be sure to sign up soon.  There will be a break during the day for lunch. Students are welcome to bring a sack lunch. A supply list is provided upon registration.
