Mark your calendars for this 4th Annual Tribute to our Veterans at Western Carolina Airport. This event draws thousands of spectators every year. Expect more planes, more entertainment, great music, great food, Veterans Stand Down Booths, and family fun. This year will also feature an airshow with vintage planes performing aerobatics! Join this year's Chili Cook-Off $250 for first place!

This event is sponsored by Ivie Funeral Home and supported by the American Legion Post 532, American Legion Post 96, American Legion Post 96 Ladies Auxilliary, VFW Post 7620, Marine Corp League Cherokee Detachment 1011, DAV Chapter 73, Chapter 15-8 Combat Veterans Motorcycle Associate, and many others. Also combining with this event the Benghazi Twin Towers Memorial Ride.
